Frequently Asked Questions

Are SNACKLINS pork rinds, cracklins, or chicharrones?

No. But, the original idea for SNACKLINS was inspired by the idea of a vegan pork rind! Our crisps resemble the flavor and texture of a pork rind but contain absolutely no meat.

What are SNACKLINS made of? And what exactly is yuca?

The base ingredients of SNACKLINS are yuca, mushrooms, and onions. Yuca is a starchy, naturally gluten-free root vegetable native to South America. It is generally considered healthier than potatoes. Yuca is loaded with potassium, choline, and vitamin C. It has a low glycemic index, supports immune function, and fights oxidative stress.

How do you achieve the lower number of calories?

The details of how we make SNACKLINS are proprietary, but because we use real, fresh vegetables that are low in calories to begin with (like mushrooms and onions), we are able to achieve rich flavor while keeping calories low.

How many carbs?

There are 15g of carbs in a 0.9oz snack size bag or individual serving of SNACKLINS. We do not claim to be a low carb snack. However, 15g of carbs is lower than many other healthy snacks and is offset by the lower calorie count.

Are SNACKLINS paleo or keto?

SNACKLINS are technically paleo-friendly, but unfortunately do not meet the requirements to be considered keto. We are 100% Kosher, vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free, nut-free, and non-GMO!

Are there any allergens in SNACKLINS?

All of our products are produced in a facility that is completely free from wheat, gluten, peanuts, and tree nuts. See below for the full list of claims and certifications. Please reach out with any specific dietary or allergy questions.
